Terms of Service
Last updated: March 18, 2026By connecting your Instagram Business Account to Canadian Immigration Observer ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms.
1. Service Description
Canadian Immigration Observer is an automated service that monitors Canadian Express Entry immigration draws published by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). When new draws are detected, the Service generates summary images and publishes them to connected Instagram Business Accounts.
The Service operates independently and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Government of Canada or IRCC.
2. Eligibility
To use this Service, you must:
- Have a valid Instagram Business Account connected to a Facebook Page
- Have the authority to grant posting permissions for the account
- Be at least 18 years of age
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining a valid Instagram Business Account in good standing
- Ensuring your account permissions remain active
- Reviewing content posted by the Service to your account
- Complying with Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines
4. Content and Accuracy
The Service publishes data sourced from publicly available IRCC endpoints. While we strive for accuracy:
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of published data
- IRCC data may be delayed, corrected, or updated after initial publication
- The Service should not be used as the sole source of immigration information
- Always verify draw results at canada.ca
5. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- That posts will be published within a specific timeframe
- Continued availability of the Service
Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance may temporarily interrupt the Service.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canadian Immigration Observer shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
- Errors or inaccuracies in published content
- Service interruptions or failures
- Actions taken by Instagram or Meta regarding your account
7. Intellectual Property
Generated images published by the Service contain publicly available IRCC data formatted by our templates. You may share, repost, or use these images on your account. The Service retains no ownership claim over posts published to your account.
8. Termination
You may disconnect your account and stop using the Service at any time by requesting data deletion (see Data Deletion). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these terms.
9. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Canadian courts.
