Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: March 18, 2026You may request the deletion of all data associated with your Instagram Business Account at any time. This page explains the process and what data will be removed.
How to Request Deletion
Send an email to privacy@immigration-observer.ca with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Include the Instagram Business Account username you connected to the service.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete:

| Generated images for your account | AWS S3 |
What Will Not Be Deleted
The following are outside our control and will not be affected by a deletion request:
- Published Instagram posts - Posts already published to your Instagram account remain on Instagram. You can delete these directly from the Instagram app.
- Facebook/Meta OAuth records - Your authorization record with Meta. You can revoke this in your Facebook Business Integrations settings.
Deletion Process
- We verify your identity and account ownership
- All associated data is permanently deleted from our systems
- Automated posting to your account stops immediately
- You receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
Timeline
Data deletion is completed within 30 days of receiving your request. In most cases, deletion is processed within 7 days.
